Treatment budget estimate
This adds up numbers you type and nothing else — it knows no provider’s prices. What it does add is the rows people leave out, which is usually where a budget goes wrong.
What a quotation usually leaves out
- Tests repeated on arrival because the originals were not accepted or not brought.
- Extra days if something takes longer than planned — ask what the daily rate is if the stay extends.
- Medicines to take home, which are often billed separately from the treatment.
- Follow-up visits after you return, and whoever provides them.
- The accompanying person: their travel, their bed, their meals, their lost income.
- Money moving: transfer fees and the exchange rate on the day, not the rate you looked up.
Ask for the quotation in writing, then ask these
- What exactly does this figure include, item by item?
- What are the most common reasons it ends up higher?
- If a complication occurs, how is that billed?
- When is payment due, and in what currency?
- Will my insurer settle directly with you, or do I pay and claim back?
- What paperwork do I need to keep for a claim?
This page never suggests a figure and never compares providers. It carries no prices at all, because a price printed here would be out of date the week after and would be trusted anyway. Get a written quotation from the provider, and put their numbers into the boxes above.
