Pocket health card
What someone would need to know about you in a hurry, on one page. Fill it in once, print it, carry it. Saved only in this browser and never sent anywhere.
Card language
Switch to English before printing if you may be treated abroad. Your text stays exactly as you typed it — only the labels change, so staff can find the allergy line without reading Vietnamese.
Making this card actually work
- Print it and put it where it will be found. A card in a wallet next to identity documents gets found. One saved only in a phone does not, because a locked phone is exactly the situation the card is for.
- Write what happened, not a label. "Allergic to painkillers" tells nobody anything. The name of the medicine and the reaction you had tells them everything.
- Update it when a medicine changes, not once a year. An out-of-date medicine list is worse than none, because it is trusted.
- Tell one person it exists. A card nobody knows about is a card nobody looks for.
- Going abroad? Print the English version and keep the Vietnamese one too. The English one is read on arrival; the Vietnamese one is what you use when you get home.
Everything you type stays in this browser only. It is never sent to a server and nobody else can see it. Clearing your browser data erases it — so print a copy, and print it again whenever something changes.
