Why it is ordered
🔴 This group is NOT for screening people without symptoms. They rise in many benign conditions and can be normal despite disease. Their real role is following the TREND in someone already diagnosed.
How to prepare
Depends on the marker. To be comparable between visits, use the same laboratory each time.
